The melee attack is powerful, but has a large delay.
The delay between melee attacks can be eliminated by shooting and dashing.
The game consumes ammunition for double jump, shooting, and dashing.
Ammunition is unlimited, but must be reloaded.
If you successfully parry, you can reload immediately and your next melee attack power will be multiplied by 5.

The player character will be stunned after being attacked 3 times while naked.
If the player character is touched by an enemy in this state, an H-scene will occur.
If the player character is not wearing clothes and her sperm gauge is full, she will enter an H-scene when she examines a defeated enemy.

Overview:
Free Cities: Origins (FCO) is an HTML game developed using SugarCube 2 based on the famous Free Cities HTML game by FCAuthor. While FreeCities was a management-centric game, we wanted to give an RPG spin on it. In FCO you are thrown into the world years after the fall of modern civilization. The Gregorian calendar while still in use, has reset its year sometime in the past. You start as an unfortunate soul who is enslaved by slave owner Shintani Hiroyuki, who, unbeknownst to him, is obsessed with his Japanese heritage and seeks to rebuild the civilizations from the myths of old.

The game takes the player on a journey from slavehood to eventually the main character in a power struggle between settlements and the last centralized power, the Trade Union. From here, the player can align themselves with a particular faction, affecting the entire game world. The world itself is dynamic and constantly changing, many of these changes are completely unknown to the player until they receive higher status and thus intel. The world also features a dynamic economy that operates on Supply-and-Demand and simulated Brownian motion.

The final phase of the game (in development) is to build a settlement from the ground up which will be the first Free City. We plan to have complex diplomatic and economic actions against other settlements, and of course, complex actions with player vassals and subjects.

Gameplay:

Currently, gameplay is limited to areas within Nipon (the main starting settlement), and the game follows two subphases (of Phase 1).
Subphase 1: The player is a low slave and thus needs to grind their way up by maintaining a high trust and obedience. This part of the game is slightly grind-heavy (but should be easy on a lower difficulty [maybe 5-10 minutes?]) and meant to be monotonous as we wanted to show how terrible being a slave actually was!Subphase 2: Once you raise your status you will be able to leave Shintani’s home and explore Nipon. Here you can interact with the economy and make money by working at the Mines. You can train at the barracks as well. You will be able to start molesting Shintani’s slaves by increasing your willpower (from being outside) and interacting with them past 12AM. While you could do this earlier, it’s only feasible now since you can raise your willpower.Phase 2: (In development) Exiting Nipon and exploring the worldPhase 3: (In development) Build own settlement (Free City) from the ground up.

You play the oni Akuma (name can be changed) the leader of a trio crew. About us!
Asphyxia Dynamics is made up of two developers: Ghoul who specialises in coding, script/story writing, renders, and Sayu who specialises in concept art, in game art, and story writing.

Our main goal is to create a fun, yet horrific world filled with an engaging story, interesting characters, and dynamic choices that do not punish the player.

Our principles for each episode are to include at least 3 things alongside humor:

  • GORE
  • SEX
  • ACTION

What should you expect in future updates?
A complete new episode every 6 weeks. Ongoing support for previous episodes. This includes: art, renders, and general maintenance.

We have a hub system with urban survival mechanics already made which will be coming after episode 2. Which we will be constantly growing and supporting.

A replay system that lets you unlock all scenes in one playthrough without impacting your choices.

We have 2 methodologies with how progress will be made in our game. Episodes will be a vertical progression that have no requirements besides completing the previous episode.

The hub system is a horizontal progression which will entail side quests, character dating, mini games, and further exploration of the game’s lore. Nothing in the hub will be mandatory if you just want to experience the main story.

Does this game use AI Art?
Yes. LotE use’s a mixture of AI and Human drawn art to speed up our development process. We use AI art for backgrounds and placeholders for scenes our artist has yet to complete. As the game ages in time, we ideally will only be using AI art for backgrounds so our artist can focus on drawing more fun stuff!
