Overview:
Before you sits an expanse of nothingness. It is an empty chasm that draws the idle mind with a numbing sensation of scale and significance. Dotted across the plains are oases of existence. These patches of land are your bastion from the expanse, but within lies god-like beings that care little for your plight. As these Wills enact their will upon the denizens of the expanse, will you become a plaything in their games and whims? Or will you embrace change and power to stand alongside your friends and allies, whatever consequences may come?

Between is an original RPG developed by 6six6 in RPG Maker MV. Taking inspiration from the Persona series, Xenoblade series, Trails/Kiseki series, and Final Fantasy 14 for story and gameplay mechanics, the game sends the player character into a mysterious world where god-like beings called “Wills” can determine fate and meld reality to their whim.
Over the course of the game, the player traverses a variety of uniquely themed dungeons called an “Oasis”, where they must struggle against or embrace transformative elements that range from changing sex, catgirls, fantasy heroes, cyberscapes, and more.
They take part in strategic battles designed around offering engaging combat where tactics in preparation and in-battle decision making are key. No grinding is required, and a large amount of flexibility is provided to develop strategies that are your own rather than being the solution.
Difficulty options are provided, and optional superbosses exist across the game’s story for those who want to master the combat and truly challenge themselves.
The game has a number of adult themes and scenes. These are uncommon to be the focus, and the approach would be better described as not shying away from said content when appropriate for the story.
This game has been my passion project since late 2020, and the response to it from the community has pushed me on to keep refining and expanding it as my plan for the story develops in each release. If you are reading this and think this sounds interesting, I sincerely hope you can enjoy it as well!

I died and was reincarnated into a – wait no…

Welcome to Demon Gods, where you play as a recently deceased soul reincarnated by a goddess with a lack of empathy. Your task is simple: purify this world of corruption, but good luck with that. The goddess could care less about your success or failure.

This game is filled with moments that will (hopefully) make you laugh and others that will make you question your morals. There are also some very dark themes. You’ll meet a cast of characters with many layers, much like an ogre has layers.​

New Content:

  • New accessory. You can now bring the demonic cookbook to Divitia. If you have the right materials, he can craft something special and a bit broken for you.
  • It is now possible to get Rhelyla pregnant instead of Scyllus, however this can only happen on Earth and only if you started as a male.
  • After leveling the barracks to level 7 you increase your soldiers attack. Normally if you attack the enemy with with scissors and they defend with paper, they damage your army 3 to 1. After upgrading, it will be 4 to 1.
  • At barracks level 10, your military attack strength rises to 5.
  • Enemy army strength has risen inversely by 1.
  • 3 new lewd images added during charm scene with Alaric. 2 if you took the form of his sister, and 1 if you stayed as yourself.
  • Other images were worked on, but were incomplete by the time of release. I really wanted to add images to the slaver transformation scenes but might have to get those done next month.
  • Added a little more to the new hints section.
  • Lots of new scenes with Rhelyla.
    • Updated scenes when she saves you at the wagon.
    • Updated scenes when you search for Scyllus in chapter 4.
    • New scenes on Earth.

Fixed:

  • Corrected the bonus applied to drop rates for greencrest in your stats screen while wearing the green plug. Previously it inaccurately reported a 15% increase.
  • Added a requirement to have learned transformation magic before choosing a certain scene with Yuki’s slavers.
  • In the scene where you transform the slavers, lowered the corruption requirement from 35 to 20 to humiliate them even further.
  • Added a list of people you must talk to when you try to leave the elf village for the first time.
  • Removed a line from the elven blacksmith about a future update.
  • Due to feedback, massively updated army cap and upgrade caps. This will make battles significantly easier. Possibly too easy.
  • Added an image I forgot to add last update for the Handy monster.
  • Added a missing variable that affected some players in seeing the new Dryad scenes.

  • New story chapter, with integrations into the office gameplay loop. I don’t want to spoil it too much, so I’ll just let you know how to get it… to trigger the sequence of events and big sex scene, you need to:
  • Piss Bruce off somehow, by either pilling him with a Bimbo/Cum-Cure/Breeder pill, or getting into a deal with him for sex and breaking it off early.
  • Get promoted to sales level 3 at the office. After that, once you go into work and leave work the next time, the scene will trigger.
  • The ability to now perform Female to Female transformations in the New-U machine, allowing you to transform to a different female body even if you’re already female. To unlock this functionality, you will need to play the story chapter above. Watch out, because doing these f2f transformations can cause additional side effects…
  • Big new gym sex scene! This is for the Liya Silver character – check out the Wiki for info on how to unlock this scene. Warning that there’s fairly high pregnancy risk in this one, so I recommend getting those anti-sperm nanobots.   • New secretary for YOU to fuck, instead of just getting fucked AS a secretary! Her name is Hailey – you can access her office from the break room. I’m still in the process of adding features to her, but now, you can:
  • Train her like a Tamagotchi to help you with work! She can do a lot of the same things you can as a secretary, help you upgrade leads, prevent demos, etc.
  • Get coffee
  • Fuck her
  • Flirt / tease / have lots of little interactions that will build your relationship
  • But note, you have to have a DESK LEVEL of at least 4 to get her to help you. You can earn desk levels faster by DOING secretary work yourself, or just by doing lots of sales the old fashioned way and asking Ray downstairs to upgrade your desk!
  • When the story chapter is happening, your workplace will react, and all your colleagues will treat you differently, because the options for what products you can sell at work will be restricted.
  • 100+ New ASMR “taunts” in the masculinity minigame, which are more immersive and react the actual choices and scores you achieve in the game
  • The ability to upsell at work in the sales game, which allows you to sacrifice chance of sale in order to boost the overall order amount. A risk/reward type thing.
  • Sometimes when your sexual reputation at work is really high, colleagues will just come into your office and take what they want! (Only if non-con is turned on)
  • A sauna where you can pay $25 a week to increase your fitness XP earned
  • Lots of other bugfixes and quality of life improvements!

Ch2 20240705 — In addition to adding the first scene of Chapter 2, the following bugs are also addressed:
Brandi’s pink sweatpants at the end of chapter 1 were changed to pink shorts in order to better match the available artwork. There is code in the game that should fix this automatically. But if that doesn’t work and Shay is not wearing any pants when you load an old saved game, enter “Game.Shay.apparel.add(‘swap_shorts’)” in your browser’s JS console, and then play to the next scene to get it to stick.
Fixed bug where Dramatis Personae was not displaying the correct viewpoint character post-swap and some character description popups were still displaying from Shay’s perspective.
Fixed bug preventing video media from looping properly.
Fixed bug causing auto-removed clothing to disappear forever (or hacked around it rather, as this whole module will be replaced with a newer better apparel system at some point).
