Welcome to Demon Gods, where you play as a recently deceased soul reincarnated by a goddess with a lack of empathy. Your task is simple: purify this world of corruption, but good luck with that. The goddess could care less about your success or failure.

This game is filled with moments that will (hopefully) make you laugh and others that will make you question your morals. There are also some very dark themes. You’ll meet a cast of characters with many layers, much like an ogre has layers.​

New Content:

  • Circe already reacted if you wore tentacle armor, added an additional reaction if you wore goldenware.
  • You can no longer update your team location while they’re gone. Instead you now update their location immediately upon their return.
  • Final outfit added to the game. You’ll have to trade the solar lamp for it after allowing divitia into your town, so it is missable.
  • You can now purchase materials from completed chapters for a high price from Divitia or a very talkative shopkeeper in Ashenfall.
  • Updated your stats page to show the new materials that have been added.
  • You are now required to update your expeditions immediately upon their return, you can no longer update them while they’re away.
  • You can now keep your promise to Yuki and take her out.
  • Updated Divitia’s dialogue when you first meet him to give you a slight hint about bringing your lamp to his shop.Fixed:
  • You can once again continue from a game over in chapter 4.
  • Reduced Elyria summon delay from 3 days to 2 days. You can now summon her once every other day in battle.
  • Changed the dialogue about resting before summoning Elyria again so it’s more clear.
  • Added code that was missing to allow you to summon Elyria against Vampires or Ghouls.
  • Fixed a scene where Scyllus talks about being a father when Rhelyla is dead.
  • Other minor text bugs and typos.
  • It should no longer take an extra expedition to update team location.
  • Fixed the inability to use transform against ghouls and banshees.
  • After obtaining the party dress, if you collect another spidersilk, it will not add the quest back to your notebook.
  • Fixed a missing greater than bracket which caused an inconsequential error message during one of the Dryad scenes.
  • Fixed 2 lewd scenes that were inaccessible at the beginning of chapter 3 due to checking for an incorrect variable.

  • Brand new activities interface – I spent time overhauling the central planning menu of the game, which was previously just dropdowns. Now, all activities 1. are glanceable, 2. require 1/2 the clicks, 3. more mobile-friendly, 4. make better use of screen real estate, 5. persist between screens. Previously due to Twine Harlowe, your choices would get reset the the previous day’s choices rather than ones you’ve selected if you move between screens. Now this doesn’t happen anymore!
  • Added the ability to not wear underwear, it is now just a checkbox in the wardrobe.
  • New scene where guys notice you’re not wearing any underwear, they make comments according to their personality type
  • Weather now affects more things – you get a +10 enjoyment bonus to watching movies when it’s raining outside
  • All factors affecting your score multiplier are now visible as an itemized list.
  • New workplace commentary, and a unique dialogue sales line for every single product and employee type combination – hundreds of new dialogue lines!
  • Issues with masculinity loss not happening resolved
  • Around 50+ older bugs have been resolved, I painstakingly went through every single bug report on Discord and have put in solutions for virtually everything.
  • Reminder messages for unique gym scenes that are only available once a week.
  • Removed stat / skill hidden decay (there are still things like gym timers / social timers, but you will no longer get your stats all set to 1 just from having a baby)

Overview:

Ch2 20240705 — In addition to adding the first scene of Chapter 2, the following bugs are also addressed:
Brandi’s pink sweatpants at the end of chapter 1 were changed to pink shorts in order to better match the available artwork. There is code in the game that should fix this automatically. But if that doesn’t work and Shay is not wearing any pants when you load an old saved game, enter “Game.Shay.apparel.add(‘swap_shorts’)” in your browser’s JS console, and then play to the next scene to get it to stick.
Fixed bug where Dramatis Personae was not displaying the correct viewpoint character post-swap and some character description popups were still displaying from Shay’s perspective.
Fixed bug preventing video media from looping properly.
Fixed bug causing auto-removed clothing to disappear forever (or hacked around it rather, as this whole module will be replaced with a newer better apparel system at some point).
