Final Cinema Animation
The final cinema tape animation has been added. It’s right next to the Big Computer.Work in Progress Boss
Here’s an early look at the boss. He can be accessed through the Big Computer for now.
The level to meet him will be developed at a later dev-cycle.
He’s just a guy.
The reward for his miniquest would be his cinema tape, but that isn’t implemented for now.

Mox Meetup Additional Interaction
Here’s Woof seeing kbol getting cold, so he’s offering his scarf.
Needed a way to visually telegraph that there’s something to find for the meetup. In this case, a scarf for a cold koubold.

Roof Ammo
Some areas have ammo in the ceiling that drops ammo.

Quality of Life
Brief Tutorial for One-Handed Mode
There’s finally a very brief tutorial for one-handed mode. The tutorial for standard keyboard is also still there. Just disable one-handed mode.

One-handed Controls Deadzones
Shrinks or expands the one-handed zone. Useful for larger monitors.

Modes and Misc

  • Infinite Ammo Mode– Unlimited pews.
  • Auto-combine Ammo Mode – Automatically combines ammo on every reload. (You can also already combine ammo by holding reload.)
  • Added directions for mouse pointers when in One-handed mode.
  • An icon pops up when stamina runs out

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a couple bugs with Mox Meetup, like duplicating sprites.
  • Fixed Exploration and Bored Mode randomly starting on its own.
  • Fixed Mox gaining stamina when shooting while not in Bored Mode.
  • Fixed not able to be hug woof while he’s being flashlight’d.
  • Fixed aiming cursor being stuck in grapple while using the controller.
  • Fixed woof getting stuck on the third floor by taking the elevator.
  • Fixed Controller Left Joystick automatically interacting with every interactable when the player walks past it.

  • Two New Animations for Bates!
    • These animations (previewed last update) become available upon reaching Phase Four or Five of the battle with Bates. When Bates is knocked down and Joe initiates sex in either of these phases, you’ll see a new animation. There is one animation when Bates is 0-99% lust, and another animation when Bates is 100% lust (magenta tint).
    • If you’ve already beat Bates in a previous version, you’ll need to beat him again to unlock these animations.
  • Full Gallery Unlock Cheat Code!

Improvements & bug fixes:

  • Possible fix for Bates flying off screen and never returning. More Bates fixes are planned for next month’s build.
  • The title screen main menu cursor now has wrapping enabled, so you can press Up to go to Quit.
  • And even more fixes that are too trivial to list!

Known issues:

  • Some systems with lesser amounts of RAM (especially Windows 32-bit) may crash if viewing Bates in the Gallery with high-quality animations enabled because the computer runs out of memory. This is something we hope to address in a future update.

Ket’s Update:
Hi everyone! June was a slow month for me since I was traveling for a couple weeks, but it’s my last trip of 2024 until our presence at ACFI (more news on that later!). While I was out, I met with a friend to create sound effects for Bates, and I learned some audio plug-ins to make more sounds on my own. I then got back into the programming to implement Red’s new animations for Bates and add a full gallery unlock cheat code, which is especially useful for those playing on Android!
I’m ready to get firmly into work-mode, so starting with this post, I’m going to list my recently completed tasks and upcoming priorities. I will update these lists in subsequent posts as a way for you to track my progress across the months.

• Temporarily removed Lovense support – This is NOT a permanant change, it was just so broken I could not in good faith release it in its current state. (Yes the button is still there.)

• Removed some sloppy game logic that was causing slowdowns (more to come)
• Added new custom handler for game and UI events.
• Nerfed the Hornets – They will now fire in bursts of 3, and then enter a cooldown for 3 seconds)
• Added back enemy Domination (this might be buggy, just warning you)
• Fixed bugs related to enemies disappearing randomly, after sex, and after being hit
• Arenas will now actually animate their walls, and the walls work as intended! No more out of bounds enemies!
• Arena waves are limited to 3 minutes, to counteract any potential out of bounds enemies that may occur.
• NPCs turn to face you, and can have their clothes destroyed. (Though if they die, they will respawn, and you will collide with them. For now you can dash to get through them)
• Gallery should have functional pallete selectors now.
• AND MANY MANY MANY MORE FIXES
