Note: The dreams vary in length, some have “first time/second time” logic, others have two different options. For now, the probability of them happening is guaranteed, because the update is about them.
We can add sleeping pills that would just skip the dream part, we can put the dreams on an rng probability or both. It all depends on how you feel about them, so please do share your feedback!
Note: Pretty much everything is tied to “sleep” (quests, events, stats), we had to test and fix the entire game on all routes to ensure that nothing gets broken, but it’s possible that we missed something or that one of our bug fixes broke something else. I hope that’s not the case, but please do report on any bugs you may find.

Randel tales is sandbox type game made with renpy. Yeah since its early in development its ui needs polishing and i still didn’t implement the point and click feature but all of these will be implemented in the future. The combat is not rpg style, it’s choice based.
The choices will greatly impact the game as you reach the end it will also shape up your character. some choices may lead to character deaths and you’ll be unable to progress their story so be carefull.

– Imps now have 4 combat sprites each instead of 1. In total with each variation/state that’s 40 sprites. I’ve also given the Imps speech bubbles/symbols and a line of first encounter dialogue each to introduce them. Also fixed some bugs with how Imps worked, nerfed the two stronger imp’s HP by 1 and their attacks are now on a 1-2-1-2 ready cycle like the Ram. Also, Imps now wander instead of getting stuck.

Overview:
Athena’s Revenge is the third and final visual novel in the Gorgon Trilogy along with Tragedy of Medusa and Euryale’s Gambit. The game takes place a short time after the events of Euryale’s Gambit. Stheno and Euryale join with Ashmedai and with the help of the Succubus Queen Igret Bat Mahlat, portal into Hell. There they meet a strange demon who calls himself “Aden” who agrees to help them. Speakeasy is a story-rich otome visual novel with a female protagonist. Each route contains several erotic scenes with fully uncensored accompanying CGs. Within the game is a common route and six possible romance routes: four routes with single male love interests, one sapphic love interest, and one polyamorous route with two male love interests. All routes are unlocked at the start of the game and there is no requirement to complete certain routes to unlock others. Routes may be played in any order, but it’s recommended to play Vincent Harlowe last. The game has 19 possible ends and approximately 35 hours of gameplay to collect all possible scenes, endings, and CGs. The main character can be customized with four different skin tone selections (appearing in CGs and in the on-screen sprites), and the name can be customized.

The port from Unity to Ren’py for Speakeasy is coming along really well. All the core items that ensure the game plays smoothly are complete, and now we’re down to the finer details like sprite placement, scene transitions, and sound effects. This is the most time-intensive phase and one of the most critical to get right because it’ll be what defines the player experience.

Here’s a look at the progress and some of the new features.

TEXT BOX & NAVIGATION

The new text box features a handy array of tools and navigational items. Quick access items include: screenshot tool, a button that hides the text box, auto forward, skip, back, menu, save, load, and settings. Watch the above gif to see some of these features in action.

MAIN MENU

The main menu has been redesigned, but still contains the same features as the original game that allows players to navigate directly to starting a new game, continuing a save file, viewing the CG gallery, adjusting settings, or exiting the game. But now there’s a bonus Momo hanging around.

CG GALLERY

The CG Gallery has also received a new look! The gallery is now sorted into pages, and each love interest receives their own page. There are placeholders for each image, so players will know if they’ve collected all CGs or still have some to find within the game. Also, there’s a new toggle that allows players to turn on/off the sexual content, for safe viewing when needed. Playing in SFW mode will still skip over the R18 CGs and will not add them to the gallery.

SEXUAL CONTENT ON/OFF

The screen that appears at the start when a player selects “NEW GAME” has received a handsome redesign featuring Milo and Vincent. After making a selection, there’s a pop-up that allows players to confirm that they’ve made the choice they were intending to.

There are lots of new, exciting features to look forward to in V2.0. But one of the best parts is that the game size has shrunk down to a fraction of what it used to be, meaning less space required on hard drives and better performance. And just a reminder, anyone who has previously purchased the game or received a key through Kickstarter for itch.io or Steam will have access to the new version. But since this is a brand new build on a different game engine, save files will not transfer over.
