The majority of the game is going to take place in the “real” world. Later in the story the VR will become much closer to AR, the MC will be perceiving and experiencing parts of the different games while still conscious and interacting with the “real” world. He’ll have trouble distinguishing real from simulation. There will be a whole lot of weird sex stuff.

Maple Hills College was originally developed by Dekarous (Domina dev), but was later passed on to a group of 3 ex game devs, the Rose Grove. Still, Dekarous has been an invaluable help with the development process and we thank him deeply.

  • Most game art is hand-drawn, either by Bonnie (our artist) or Shakie-Chan (original Domina artist). AI art is occassionally used, using a Stable Diffusion model trained on Bonny’s own style, so the art stays consistent.
  • The game includes high quality voice acting. Due to the lack of funds, most voice acting is done by the dev team ourselves, then passed through a voice changer depending on the character speaking. Less important characters are voiced by AI directly. The software used is ElevenLabs.
  • The game will eventually include a wide variety of femdom-based fetishes. The fetish tags of the thread will be updated accordingly to each game version.

A couple things:
-The travel maps mechanic is the last major feature/mechanic to be integrated into the game. From here on out, we’ll just be adding depth to ALL of existing systems and improving on them, such as combat, enemy AI, etc.
-The next focus now, is on (finally) the Mages of Palam quest(s) and wrapping up Captain Nyx for Act 1, before moving on towards finally wrapping up Act 1’s main quests and leaping ahead with the story (with Regina content). We’ve already made a start gathering assets and things already~
