FAQ:

What’s the difference between the public/demo version and the other versions?
Well, right now, not a whole lot. The only difference currently is the lack of starting bonus and cheat menu in the demo. The Public/Demo Version also has links promoting our Patreon, Subscribe Star, and Steam Page. In the future, the demo will contain less story, events, clothes, hairstyles etc. As we move forward, the Public/Demo version will have a staggered release from the paid versions.Will You Include X Fetish In The Remake?
That’s a great question! Currently, we plan to do a “Vanilla” remake. Now, that doesn’t mean we won’t include fetishes. Fetishes will be supported later in development and will be optional. Which fetish we focus on first will depend on patrons and how comfortable the artist is with the subject matter. We are going this route mainly because we don’t want feature creep to become problematic. Too many developers promise too much, often leading to abandoned projects. We want to create this game with laser focus. We also know that specific fetishes don’t appeal to everyone. So, by having our main audience vote on fetishes, we hope to bring the most wanted fetishes to the game first when the time comes.How Is The Remake Going To Be Different From The Original?
Aside from the art, engine, and UI, we don’t plan to change much about the game. However, we do plan to rewrite a ton of the story. This doesn’t mean the story will change significantly. It only means we plan to have a more cohesive and polished story. We love the original, but the writing was all over the place. We want to see the same story told but in a better way.Will The Remake Still Have A Female MC?
Yes! We still plan to add a female MC, but to be honest; it’s not something we plan to add for a while. The goal is to get the main systems in place before we divert our attention to these options. Once we have the base mechanics done along with a solid team, we hope to bring the female MC option as soon as possible.

What Platforms Is The Game Going To Be On?
The game has Windows, Linux, Mac and Android ports. Later, we hope to release it on Steam and Itch.io.

Description
Apocalypse Lovers is an adult video game series based on the interactive virtual story model. But also includes different gameplay elements such as inventory management or resources gathering.
The game will be divided into episodes and chapters during which very different themes and topics will be addressed.
What will remain constant, however, is the fact that in this game, you, the player, will be at the center of the action all along. This means that you will have a direct impact on how the story unfolds and on the world in which you will evolve!

After all the difficulties encountered, I am very happy to finally announce the release of the Chapter 2! The beta testing phase has just ended and everything seems to be in order! But if by any chance you find a bug, please report it on the appropriate discord channel.

I also take this opportunity to remind you, as I had announced previously, it’s imperative to restart the game from the beginning, even if you have already played chapter 1. Because many scenes have been modified and improved even in chapter 1; so unfortunately you can’t resume your old backups. If you still have one, it’s even recommended to throw away what’s left your old Apocalypse Lovers Folder before you embark on this new adventure!

Alright, I know this update was long, but now it’s here and I hope you will enjoy playing it as much as I liked creating it. I’ve put all my heart into it and I hope there is the right balance of content between lore developpment, adult action, story progression and funny scene. That being said, don’t hesitate to contact me on social networks to share your feedback, whether positive or negative! This will give me more indicators which will lead my line of work when developping chapter 3.

KNOWN ISSUES:
– There are not voice lines for DLC3
– Saves from previous versions may not be compatible with JPNv.211224. If you are getting an error when capturing new seedbeds or attempting to breed an already captured seedbed, simply remove your defensive army and wait or grind the Adventurer Tower until you are attacked. A fresh NewGame+ should solve the issue
– If you get an error with a bunch of ???? when starting the game, you are not running the game in Japanese localisation. Use Locale Emulator.
– There are no voice lines for the mating scenes. This is a peperoncino issue, not an issue with the translation.
– Large portions of the game are MTL. Most of the translation has been bug tested, but I cannot rule out the possibility that MTL introduced bugs will occur.
– If you want to be especially helpful when reporting a bug, go to your ./savedata folder and share the krkr.console.log file if it exists
– Dinner and Arena functions are not supported
