You play the oni Akuma (name can be changed) the leader of a trio crew. Akuma specializes with katanas and brute strength, the other members are Sayuri the bipolar elf mage and Yuka the yandere human psychopath. The “Heroes” in this Visual Novel go out on quests to hunt beasts, monsters, miners, and everything in between to get paid. About us!
Asphyxia Dynamics is made up of two developers: Ghoul who specialises in coding, script/story writing, renders, and Sayu who specialises in concept art, in game art, and story writing.

Our main goal is to create a fun, yet horrific world filled with an engaging story, interesting characters, and dynamic choices that do not punish the player.

Our principles for each episode are to include at least 3 things alongside humor:

  • GORE
  • SEX
  • ACTION

What should you expect in future updates?
A complete new episode every 6 weeks. Ongoing support for previous episodes. This includes: art, renders, and general maintenance.

We have a hub system with urban survival mechanics already made which will be coming after episode 2. Which we will be constantly growing and supporting.

A replay system that lets you unlock all scenes in one playthrough without impacting your choices.

We have 2 methodologies with how progress will be made in our game. Episodes will be a vertical progression that have no requirements besides completing the previous episode.

The hub system is a horizontal progression which will entail side quests, character dating, mini games, and further exploration of the game’s lore. Nothing in the hub will be mandatory if you just want to experience the main story.

Does this game use AI Art?
Yes. LotE use’s a mixture of AI and Human drawn art to speed up our development process. We use AI art for backgrounds and placeholders for scenes our artist has yet to complete. As the game ages in time, we ideally will only be using AI art for backgrounds so our artist can focus on drawing more fun stuff!

Overview:
You play as an 18-year-old half-daemon who is forced to live away from people because your father was a member of,
the Order of Dusk, whose members have been plotting coups d’etat in many countries. One day the woman who raised you, the nocturnal demon Nikta, who is also a member of the Order, comes to you and asks for help.

You must hide your demonic appearance and travel to the distant city of Kae’Thalor to help her daughter Azura with the research the Order needs. She works as a librarian for the Adventurer’s Guild, so you will have to become a member of that guild as well.

You go there with your Familiar, the demonic cat Fluffy, whom you rescued a month ago. Along the way, you also meet the snow elf Countess Lyel and her bodyguard werewolf Tasha, who want to join the guild for different reasons.

  • Reworked starting quests for Lyel, Tasha, Fluffy, Azura, Orchidea, Maki, Tilisu, Ariana(2 quests), and Ivy.
  • The free-roaming system is the same except for some minor changes.
  • Reworked the dungeon system completely and simplified fishing. (I plan to add random lewd events in the dungeon in future updates)
  • We’ll still have to learn spells, but I removed that spell-casting mechanic because it was clumsy, annoying, and a pain to develop.
  • Alchemy works the same, however, I removed the mana potion because we don’t need it anymore. Also, instead of 3 dyes, there’s only one color dye now.
  • Added Monster Girls collection book
  • Added art Gallery
  • Changes after beta – fixed a few bugs in the dungeon, added Naiad event and blacksmith.
