We made a post last week going over the changes, but here’s a more complete list:
All four positions now have finishing animations.
All finishing animations have been extended for emphasis and quality.
More life-like movement from Galmine and Victor thanks to a new jitter logic added to the grid position modifier.
Galmine now has a sexy bunny outfit and you can choose between naked, half-dressed and fully undressed state.
Cutscene framerate and visual quality improved with backend fixes so there are no major loading cuts.
Lighting for all positions has been made more consistent.
More language options for subtitles, including Russian, Japanese, Chinese (simplified) and Spanish.
Various UI updates and fixes to make the controls easier to use and understand.
Resolution selection improved code and drop-down menu options so you can easily get exactly what you need.

Core Gameplay

Tamer: King of Dinosaurs is a one-time purchase, single player, survival, action, fort building, harem dating sim experience. The end goal of the game is to build a fort that keeps the “Tribe” of Victor and his four love interests safe from the dinosaurs of the planet. You will need to finish daily quests to solve the problems facing your tribe, including fighting vicious dinosaurs, hunting and gathering, crafting and construction, and also romantic expeditions that give your lovers what they need to thrive on a deadly alien world.

Four unique women await you in Tamer: King of Dinosaurs. Each woman brings a different personality and speciality that can assist you.

Sheela, the Huntress.
This stoic cat-like woman is skilled in combat and understands the dangers of this world. She’ll join you on most of your quests, help you build weapons, and provide you with combat training.

Galmine, the Gardener.
This beautiful woman has the sweetest personality you could imagine, and she loves to grow her vegetables and herbs. She’ll offer uplifting advice and provide you with recipes for food, poisons, and anything else plant related.

Trel-Idil-Iria, Duchess of Family Iria, the Builder.
Trel is the most important, intelligent, and beautiful person in her world, and she’ll remind you of this every chance she gets. Despite her haughty personality, she really is a genius. Once you win her over, she’ll help you craft tools and build the fort.

Kacerie, the Stylist.
Pink haired and sassy, Kacerie comes from a world with slightly more advanced technology than our Earth. She doesn’t want to be on this planet, but that’s understandable. Once she forms a strong relationship with you, she’ll be able to help you with all the cosmetic nuances of women’s outfits and the new fort.

Once you’ve earned enough respect with each woman, you will be able to make love to them. During the sex modules, you’ll have complete control of the position, camera angle, lighting, and pace. Since Tamer: King of Dinosaurs is a harem game, you won’t have to worry about picking just one love interest. All four women will fall in love with you as long as you complete the dating sim respect quests, and they do not have a problem sharing you with the others.

My First Story: Royal Switch

  • Two people, born the same day, but in very different circumstances. One is a Princess, born to rule. The other is a peasant, born to live in obscurity. They live very different lives, until one day the fates collide, and they meet, only to discover that they are identical in (almost) every way! What would happen if they switched places?
  • Wait…you say you have heard this story? Like, 100 times? Okay, fine. But this version includes some elements that a certain classic of American literature lacks, including:
    • Elves!
    • Sex!
    • Talking Cats!
    • Training!
    • Corruption!
    • Romance!
    • Intrigue!
    • Uh…Talking Cats!
  • I created this story in part to explore the related but distinct genres of training and corruption. How are they similar? How are they different? Most importantly, how do they look from the perspective of the object of the training or corruption?
  • Join us as we pervert a beloved tale for our own prurient amusement, as peasant Esther and Princess Brigitte embark on parallel adventures to find their true selves!
  • Note: I envision this as a visual novel, not a game, so it is very much story-based rather than task-based. Also, Royal Switch falls somewhere between a visual novel and a kinetic novel. There will be choices, and they will affect the story in both the near- and long-term, but as I start this project, I do not think they will cause momentous changes. I want you to relax and enjoy the story rather than worrying about what you might be missing.

Fun Fact
Royal Switch may be my first visual novel, but it is not my first idea for a visual novel. The original inspiration, with a working title Steampunk Western Mystery (catchy, right?), set in an alternate-history version of the Pacific Northwest in 1900, suffers from a far more complex plot and the lack of an ending. Still, I have developed that world to the point where I want to showcase it a bit, so patrons will see some previews for that project as well.

I used to be a painter, but then life got in the way. After several years away from art, I decided to try digital media. I have been reading visual novels for a while, and I write quite a lot for my day job, so I thought I would combine my interests and see what I could create.
