I want to preface this release by stating that the first half of the month was really hard for me. There were some health issues in the family and, while now everything is fine, it was extremely hard for me to focus during that period of time. I’m not using this as an excuse or anything. The writing aspect was done a few months ago, so if it sucks, it’s entirely on me. It’s more the coding aspect that I’m concerned with. If anyone encounters a bug, please let me know so I can fix the issue promptly.

As for the release itself—V0.6.6—its length is around 17k words. It has two-ish sex scenes and introduces 7 new CG sets. It’s the start of the ‘Hero’ Ending—the ending that is probably a bit less ‘tropey’ compared to the other endings available right now. It also means that it’s more of a gamble.

It’s the first part out of 5 or 6, and has a small alternative ending. In order to reach the Hero ending, you need to:

  • Trust Laura most of the times
  • Ignore Aya most of the times
  • Understand Laura

…use the Ending Selection menu in the Extra section that I just added. Since a lot of people seems to have a hard time finding the combination of choices in order to play the various endings, I put together a menu to access all of the currently available endings. This is a very simple menu, so you can only choose one of the three main ending routes for now. I might work on it more in the future when I have the chance. Whichever ending that you choose, it will always bring you to the same scene (the vote for Luca’s proposal). It’s where the story branches, so don’t be surprised that this menu always brings you there.

In order to be able to access this menu, you first need to have at least finished one ending.

One other thing that I have implemented is a button in the CG Gallery and the Scene Replay menu to unlock all CGs or scenes without the need of playing the game. I don’t really know why people would want that, but it’s there anyway.

I’ve also changed the layout of the CG gallery to have a ‘others’ section to accommodate the CGs that neither Laura nor Aya are present in.

So you see, I’ve done a few changes to the game menu because I really wanted to make the experience a bit better, but I wasn’t expecting so much disturbance in my life when I started working on this. Which is why I’m sure there must be a bug hiding somewhere in there. Apologies in advance.
